Brand-new website to launch for Engineers Australia

To support the talent of engineers now and into the future, Engineers Australia will soon launch a brand-new website.

The website will provide a world-class experience for our members and its contemporary design will better reflect the Engineers Australia brand.

Extensive user research indicated people wanted a simpler way to explore the website and needed clear pathways to essential information. In response Engineers Australia has designed an entirely new mobile responsive website. We’ve also reorganised and rewritten all content in clear and simple language that’s been optimised for search engines.

The iterations of the website were extensively tested with members and non-members in order to ensure that all the right information is there in the right place.

How will these changes affect you?

The improvements to the Engineers Australia website will:

  • Enhance your experience on our website with a single menu accessible from the homepage that will move with you across all areas of the site.
  • Highlight your most searched for content, all of which now sits front and centre in our menu.
  • Help you upskill and apply for registration, migration skills assessment or Chartered status with new step-by-step guides and video resources.
  • Simplify your searches with improved search functionality and a new central resource library with filter options to help you browse our publications, reports, guides and submissions with ease.

What isn’t changing?

While we’ll have a brand-new website, the member portal is not changing.

This means the processes to update your Engineers Australia profile, renew your membership, log CPD hours and requirements, or apply to join one of our technical societies will not change.

What’s still to come?

All key information about Engineers Australia’s offering and what we do will be available from launch, however there are still some elements that will be enhanced post-launch.

This will include handy summaries for each of the publications in the resource library, bespoke online communities for our learned societies, an event search that allows you to refine your results by topic, location and event type, and a brand-new one-stop location for all our conferences.

We hope you enjoy using the new website and look forward to sharing it with you soon.
