About the speakers
Maria has had over 20 years of experience in complex, capital-intensive multinationals, leading large cross-functional teams on multi-year, billion-dollar projects. She is the Project Controls manager at Southern Project Alliance for ACCIONA and, prior to this, had a successful international executive automotive career with General Motors.
Maria has an MBA from the Melbourne Business School and BEng(Mech) Hons/ BSc(Mathematics) from the University of Melbourne. She is an EngExec and Fellow with Engineers Australia and is Chartered in Leadership & Management and Project Management. Maria is the Chair of the National Committee for Women in Engineering and a Non-Executive Director with ANCAP.
Stacey is an experienced strategic and governance professional, founder of Board Presence and author of Fly to the Boardroom: Your Essential Guide to Getting on a Board.
As an entrepreneur, educator and engineer, Stacey has worked with multinational companies at all levels of government, community organisations and small businesses. She develops sustainable strategies and solutions and delivers programs, courses, and events to build capability and support those aspiring to sit on and work with boards and committees.
As a leader in the engineering profession, Stacey has been nationally recognised for her work as one of Australia’s Innovative Engineers in 2020.
Vicki is a solutions-focused Director with twenty-five years of experience, holds civil engineering qualifications, provides technical advice across the transport sector, and is responsible for the business development of a boutique engineering consultancy. Passionate about Projects, Vicki has led and influenced a number of teams whilst being responsible for the planning, preconstruction, delivery and handover of Major Transport Infrastructure Projects (i.e., Rail (Heavy and Light), Road and On-Road Transport.
Known for strong operational expertise (including asset and emergency management), Vicki has experience within the water industry, local government in both Victoria and Tasmania and service providers to local government and the private sector. Vicki is also a DTF Gateway Team Leader and Member for high-value, high-risk projects across the infrastructure sector.
Olga is a Senior Engineering Manager at CPB Contractors with over 19 years of experience in complex infrastructure projects. Her expertise in tunnels and underground structures has yielded a proven track record across major transport projects in Australia, Asia, and Europe, including the recent Melbourne Metro Tunnel and Sydney Metro packages. A champion of collaboration, she currently leads Suburban Connect’s Engineering & Design team delivering the Suburban Rail Loop Tunnels South package.
