Engineers Australia today announced that the Hon Eva Lawler MLA, Treasurer; Minister for Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics; Minister for Education, and Minister for Territory Development has accepted the honorary position of Northern Division Patron.

Engineers Australia Northern Division President Jacinta Kelly said the patronage will help highlight the engineering profession and the critical role it plays in the region.

“As a former educator across the Northern Territory, Minister Lawler is passionate about delivering the best career outcomes for students and the the growth of STEAM education,” Ms Kelly said.

“Minister Lawler also understands that Engineers Australia is crucial in delivering much needed skills and input to the region to support the development of the Northern Territory economy and infrastructure.

“We are delighted to have her on board and look forward to working with her on collaborations and partnerships that will contribute to community growth, infrastructure development, and STEAM education advancement.”
