Engineers Australia Tasmania is hosting its Careers Fair on Wednesday 6 March, 2024.

The Tasmania Careers Fair serves as a platform for industry professional and aspiring engineers to connect.

Our Careers Fair in 2023 was a major success and this year we are expecting a turnout of up to 40 exhibitors and more than 300 students.

Taking place at the Uni Gym at the Sandy Bay UTAS Campus, the fair promises to be a dynamic space for fostering connections that will shape the future of engineering in Tasmania.

Engineers Australia Tasmania General Manager Darren Beattie says the event bridges the gap between industry leaders and students early in their academic journey. 

“This direct engagement aims to provide students with insights into the diverse career paths within engineering, while offering industry professionals the opportunity to identify and connect with emerging talent,” Mr Beattie says.

Engineers Australia extends an invitation to students, graduates and members of the local engineering community to come along and connect directly with industry. 

The fair will be an afternoon event with free entry, creating a relaxed and informal atmosphere conducive to networking. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy a barbecue, fostering casual conversations and relationship-building between exhibitors and students.
