Engineers Australia’s National Committee on Space Engineering has developed a policy advice paper on Australia’s space engineering capability through the member-delivered policy and advocacy process. 

Engineers Australia recommends a government-led review into apartment design, construction, and maintenance in Victoria, including consideration of the whole of life building cycle, consultation with experts and collection of data on liveability.

This submission to the WA Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage provides comment focused on how the Code addresses the four elements of design rather than detailed review. 

Engineers Australia supports Council’s initiative to invest in more active transport infrastructure, including the Green Bridges Program and encourages Council to broaden the program where possible to include planning for a network of Green Bridges that service inner city movements

This letter is a submission for the Northern Territory Government’s request for feedback to develop priority reforms that consider Compulsory Third-Party Review in Structural Design.

Engineers Australia argues that enhanced investment in economic infrastructure is long overdue and welcomes the opportunity to respond to the Australian Government’s discussion paper “Using value capture to help deliver major land transport infrastructure: roles for the Australian Government”.
