Code of practice: urban and peri-urban drainage modelling
This code of practice provides advice on urban and peri-urban drainage modelling in a Western Australian context. It provides support for the application of relevant guidance, particularly Australian Rainfall and Runoff and the Stormwater Management Manual for Western Australia, when undertaking urban drainage modelling in support of land use planning decisions in Western Australia.
Developed by the Institute of Public Works Engineering Australia, Stormwater Western Australia and Engineers Australia.
Engineering a resilient and sustainable rural, regional and remote road network
Engineers Australia's submission to the House of Representatives Standing Committee on Regional Development, Infrastructure and Transport, calls on knowledge from Engineers Australia's position on climate change to make recommendations that highlight the growing importance of the regional road network in a heating climate.
Submission to national battery strategy
The Department of Industry, Science and Resources consulted on a National Battery Strategy issues paper. Engineers Australia's submission focuses on moving up the value chain, starting in mineral processing, covering all processes and precursors before mass manufacturing, assembly in niche applications and leveraging safety standards and ESG credentials for competitive advantage.

Heritage and conservation engineering deals with the application and adaptation of all the traditional disciplines of engineering, together with an understanding of the elementary scientific principles involved which might not be directly referenced in current practice procedures.

Subsea engineering deals with the design, construction, installation, operation, maintenance and decommissioning of equipment in the ocean or on the seabed.

Project management deals with the discipline of initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing the work of a team to achieve specific goals and meet specific success criteria.
Pressure equipment design verification
Pressure Equipment Design Verification deals with the process which assures the integrity of pressure vessels, boilers, pressure piping, and gas cylinders for the stated design and operating conditions.
