Guidelines for the Engineering Heritage Australia national engineering oral history program
The National Engineering Oral History Program aims to record for posterity in their own voice, the experiences, achievements and observations of significant engineers, provide resources to Division heritage units that may not otherwise be able to afford to undertake oral history, and establish an engineering oral history data base for researchers, biographers, historians, journalists and social scientists.
Guide to engineering heritage recognition program
This guide details the Engineering Heritage Australia's Engineering Heritage Recognition Program.
The purpose of the program is to encourage conservation of Australian engineering heritage and to raise community awareness of engineering and the benefits it provides.
Professional performance: a user’s guide
This is an introduction to the application by Professional Engineers of the Performance Protocol, developed and implemented as part of the PPIR (Professional Performance Innovation and Risk) Program by the Warren Centre for Advanced Engineering.
Guidelines for responding to the effects of climate change in coastal and ocean engineering
This document updates previous climate change guidelines prepared by the National Committee on Coastal and Ocean Engineering and is designed to complement the coastal engineering guidelines for ecologically sustainable development and the climate change adaptation guidelines in coastal management and planning.
Coastal engineering guidelines for working with the Australian coast in an ecologically sustainable way
These guidelines have been developed by the National Committee on Coastal and Ocean Engineering. Following on from Guidelines for Responding to the Effects of Climate Change in Coastal and Ocean Engineering this publication aims at broader considerations regarding engineering in the coastal zone

Engineers Australia's insights for 2017, specifically the change required to realise the country’s political, social and economic aspirations.
The future of Australian electricity generation
A transition plan should consider all options, and transforming Australia’s electricity generation is not a matter of choosing just one technology for the future. It is using a combination of existing and emerging technologies, in a structural policy environment consistent with emissions reductions and meeting the demand for electricity. A secure energy future will be reliant on these policy approaches being successfully deployed.
Engineers make things happen: the need for an engineering pipeline strategy
Engineers Australian examines the need for an engineering pipeline strategy.
Women in engineering: 2017
The purpose of this project was to investigate, identify and assess the barriers confronting women in engineering in order to find ways to redress the underrepresentation of women in the profession. This was completed as a partnership with Engineers Australia and Monash University as part of the Monash Industry Team Initiative (MITI) project.
Implementing sustainability: principles and practice
This document provides guidelines on how to develop more fully the principles of sustainability and to enable them to be implemented in practice.
PPIR: a program for professional performance
The Professional Performance, Innovation and Risk Program (PPIR Program) is an industry initiative undertaken by The Warren Centre for Advanced Engineering.
Creating effective workplaces for now and in the future – flexible workplace strategies
This brochure outlines various case studies demonstrating successful work-life balance, strategies for creating effective workplaces by implementing worklife balance opportunities, and a check list for organisations and individuals for before, during and after changes in working arrangements.
Industry blueprint of successful in-house professional women’s programs
This paper has been developed following a round table discussion with industry partners. It looks at programs proven to encourage and retain women in the engineering profession including issues to consider, some of the key messages to achieve success and some lessons learnt.
